Ekiti College of Health Governing Council hails Institution’s upgrade to Polytechnic, pledges support for Oyebanji

The Governing Council, Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, led by Dr. Femi Thomas has expressed profound gratitude to the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for his unwavering commitment to educational development in the state.

Reacting to the outcome of a State Executive Council meeting, where the Governor approved a bill to upgrade the College to a polytechnic, Dr. Femi Thomas described the decision as a significant milestone in the history of the Institution.

“This development is a testament to the Governor’s vision for educational advancement in Ekiti State. The Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students are thrilled at this news and appreciate the Governor’s love for seeing our institution attain greater heights”.

The Former Health Commissioner, who noted that the upgrade to a polytechnic will undoubtedly boost educational development in Ekiti State, Nigeria, and beyond, reaffirmed the support of the Institution’s Governing Council for the Governor’s administration.

While commending the Governor’s approval of funds for the installation of a 500KVA transformer at the health-based Institution, Dr. Thomas noted that it would enhance academic activities.

He further assured of the Institution’s continued collaboration with the State Government in order to ensure the successful implementation of the Governor’s lofty initiatives.
