Edo Gov, Okpebholo seeks Monarchs’ support for Tinubu’s reelection bid

The Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo has solicited the support of traditional rulers across the state for the reelection bid of President Bola Tinubu.

Okpebholo made this appeal while playing host to the South South Monarchs Forum, led by its Vice Chairman, Major General Felix Majukperuo.

He said their support is necessary to improve national security, as a result of their critical roles in community policing.

“There’s a need for traditional rulers to come together to help and support the President because you have a major role to play when it comes to community policing”. He said

In his remarks, Major General Felix Majukperuo hailed the governor for his giant strides since his assumption in office, while pledging support for the success of his administration.
