I am not fighting Fubara, he’s my son – Wike

Adebayo Adenrele

The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has said he’s not in any battle with the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara.

Wike revealed that he’s only furious at the opposition trying to use Fubara against him and reap what they don’t sow.

Wike stated this while addressing the controversy surrounding Fubara’s visit to his residence.

His words, “I am not fighting Fubara, he’s my son, why would I fight him?

“The people I’m fighting are people who want to steal what they don’t work for.

“I defeated them to the final one and they have been put ashamed, they are the ones pushing Fubara.

“I am ready to make peace but it’s left to him”.
