Operatives of the Man O’ War Railway Command have arrested a staff member of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Gift Eseeli, for allegedly stealing several lengths of 50mm armoured signal cables along the Warri-Itakpe Train Service corridor.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists by the NRC’s acting spokesman, Callistus Unyimadu.
According to the statement, the stolen cables were recovered and have been handed over to the Nigerian Police Force for further investigation.
