The Saudi Authorities have deported Nigerian Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Gumi from the country, preventing the cleric from participating in the forthcoming 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
While it’s unclear on the reason behind his deportation, Gumi has earlier criticised the Israel-Palestine conflict and advocated for dialogue with bandits in Nigeria.
