The Coordinator of Anti-Grazing in Ekiti State, Adeniyi Adedipe, popularly known as Apase has treated hundreds of people to sumptuous meal under an initiative called “Baoress for BAO Every First Sunday of the Month Free Pounded Yam”.
The programme is to support the present administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his future political ambition.Speaking during the BAORESS for BAO free Pounded yam, the Coordinator of Ant-Grazing Marshall in Ekiti State, Chief Adeniyi Adedipe noted that the programme would be monthly exercise to further promote second term ambition of Governor Oyebanji and enlighten them on the need to support his administration.
Chief Adedipe added that the need to support the governor beyond first term in office became imperative due to his outstanding performance in sectors such as Infrastructure, Education, Economy, Health, Security, among others.
In his remark, the Founder of Yemi Oshe Foundation, Yemi Omotoyinbo appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for placing priority on the needs of the people, hence the need for supporting him with empowerment programme for the less privileged in the Society.
According to him, Governor Oyebanji has performed beyond the expectations of the residents, saying that is why he is receiving overwhelming support of former Governors and big wigs in the State.
” We have been moving round some local governments across the State to sensitise people on the need to throw their support behind the Governor”.
In a separate interview, some of the people who came out for the free Pounded yam including the Chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Ekiti State , Chief Sunday Adeola known as Abokode commended Apase for always supporting Governor Oyebanji to achieve success beyond first term in office and urged other political office holders to emulate him.
