Hausa Community in Iworoko area of Irepodun/Ifelodun local government of Ekiti State has hailed the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji for his inclusive approach to governance.
The residents of the Hausa community voiced their unwavering support and heartfelt prayers to Oyebanji for his leadership role in the state during the community engagement in Iworoko-Ekiti powered by the Bureau of Community Communications.
Addressing the gathering, Director General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mary Omotosho said the gathering is targeted at improving service delivery to the people, reviewing government impact in various communities, effectively addressing community issues and challenges so as to align government actions with their needs and concerns.
She noted that the engagement is also to ensure that Governor Oyebanji’s grassroots development programs and policies are truly enjoyed by the people.
According to her, Governor Oyebanji has continued to run an inclusive, people-centred administration where every voice counts and every structure matters adding that this approach to governance is not only deepening access but also reinforcing trust between the people and their government.
Responding, Chairman of the Hausa Community in Iworoko, Yusuf Saadu, praised Oyebanji’s inclusive approach and commitment to connecting with people from all backgrounds which further exemplifies his leadership qualities.
He seized the opportunity to declare their unalloyed support for the re-election of Governor Oyebanji for more impactful leadership in the state.
In the same vein, Chairman of Okada Riders in Iworoko, Ayodimeji Ajayi equally thanked the governor for bringing the dividends of democracy to the area saying that the people are solidly behind his re-election.
