Maryam Abacha, the wife of former Nigerian Head of State, Sani Abacha has denied allegations of embezzlement, saying the money her husband kept for Nigeria has vanished.
In a trending video, Maryam said people peddling the rumour were sponsored by elements of hatred, who resorted to tribalism to tackle her husband.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that the money recovered from the United States under the popular phrase ‘Abacha loot’, has amounted to over $340m, with underground information suggesting that the claimed fund was not up to 50% of the whole looted capital.
