The endorsement, described as the first of its kind in the state, took place on Wednesday at a grand event held at Fajuyi Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
Speaking with journalists on behalf of all the chairmen, the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Samuel Abejide, described Governor Oyebanji as a humble and visionary leader, whose transformational impact on the state is widely acknowledged.
Abejide stated that the endorsement by Commissions, Boards and Agencies was a way to show appreciation for the governor’s performance and also to endorse both Governor Oyebanji and his deputy, Chief Monisade Afuye for second term in office.
He also described the state’s helsman as “the people’s governor,”whose leadership is divinely inspired and whose commitment to public service is evident across all sectors.
His words, “The Chairmen and members of the Commission, Boards, Parastatals and Agencies agreed to express their appreciation to Mr. Governor through endorsement program for providing an enabling environment, security and infrastructural amenities and welfarism packages to both the people of Ekiti and most especially to all of us in our various establishments.
“This gathering of endorsement programmes has one significant aspect: This is the first ever where the Chairmen and members of Commissions, Boards, Parastatals and agencies unanimously agreed to organize an endorsement programme for any Governor in this State. This is as a result of the special virtue we find in Mr. Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
“Respect is not reserved for the powerful or the loud, but those who show kindness, empathy and integrity. True strength lies in humility and leadership is about lifting others up not tearing them down. His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji is the kind of person who respects everyone regardless of their position or status.
“His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji cares for the people of Ekiti with passion, being emotionally, motivated to provide service-oriented avenues to his people in all sectors. He is God Chosen Governor with divine wisdom.

Oyebanji also credited much of his administration’s achievements to the cooperation and hard work of public servants across the state’s MDAs.
The Governor, represented by his Special Adviser on Political Matters and Inter-party Affairs, Chief Jide Awe emphasized the importance of voter participation, urging Ekiti residents to get their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
This according to him is a necessary and mandatory weapon to fight for good governance in the state.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. The reward of hard work is to work more and he’s been doing it. If the state is working, it’s because those who are in a position are doing their own bit diligently and I want to thank Baba Abejide and his team for coordinating this.
“This is the kind of thing we want in the state, my success lies on the capacity and hardwork of those in position. I thank you for this arrangement, we are doing these works together as you said I should continue, I have prepared to work to achieve success.
“The powerful tool of a politician is the voters card, if we endorse from today till tomorrow and there’s no instruments to vote, it will come to nothing.
“When the INEC calls for validation of electoral machinery, all of us will go there. Let’s all go and register, that’s the weapon, that’s the identity which we will use during the election”. The governor said
