A lion has killed a 19-year-old man living with mental disorder, Gerson Machado after breaking into its enclosure in Arruda Camara Park, Brazil.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that Machado climbed the fence of the enclosure and jumped on its tree, thereby tearing him apart.
According to reports, Machado, who had a history of mental health issues, had told social workers on multiple occasions about wanting to live among Africa’s big cats and had previously tried to reach Africa as a stowaway on a plane.
