A foundation under the auspices of Flourish Seniors’ Home Concept, has put smiles on the faces of the Elderly by distributing food items to them.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists by the Project Director, Akintayo Olowojebutu.
He said the idea of giving back to the elderly stemmed from the organization’s original desire to provide housing accommodation for persons aged 70 and above, especially those whose children are no longer with them physically.
Olowojebutu stated that the organization reached out to individuals for support and identified elderly persons who would be the beneficiaries of the initiative.
He noted that some children also desire support for the healthy living of their elderly parents.
The Broadcast Journalist who was surrounded by a team of young men and women, expressed optimism that Flourish Seniors’ Home Concept would extend the distribution to more beneficiaries if more support is received.
He maintained that the organization would eventually set up a home for the elderly, where aged persons would be able to stay together with their peers under one roof, similar to a school setting.
