The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Sen Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has stated that Peter Obi, can’t win the 2027 general election because Northerners, who has more voting strength among others geopolitical zones, don’t believe in him.
Kwankwaso stressed that the former Anambra Governor won’t win even if he becomes his presidential running mate, as a result of the persistent clamour for secession from the South East.
He said, “If I contest as presidential running mate to Peter Obi, they would lose, because an average Northerner believe in one Nigeria and the persistent clamour for secession from the South East makes a candidate from the zone unattractive to majority of Northern voters”.
