FIFA president, Gianni Infantino has proposed that players who cover mouths while confronting opponents, should be sent off by the referee.
Infantino said referees should presume players covering mouths while confronting opponents are saying something they shouldn’t especially racism.
This proposal is tied to anti-racism push after Vinicius Jr incidents, with IFAB discussions for rule changes ahead of World Cup 2026.
