The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ekiti State, Ambassador Dare Bejide has extended warm greetings to Muslims in the state as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Ambassador Bejide described Eid-el-Fitr as a period of reflection, gratitude, and renewal, and urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace, progress, and prosperity for Ekiti State and Nigeria.
Je acknowledged the sacrifices made by Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan and expressed hope that the values of compassion, kindness, and self-control would guide all Ekiti residents.
Ambassador Bejide also emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence, saying Ekiti needs leaders who will promote mutual respect and understanding among all faiths and backgrounds.
As a leader, he pledged to work towards creating an inclusive society where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their faith or background.
Ambassador Bejide wished all Muslims in Ekiti State a joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration and expressed his commitment to serving the people of Ekiti with dedication and integrity, if voted for during the June 20th election
