At least 8 students of Madonna University, Elele Rivers State, have died in a car crash on their way to Taraba state.
According to report, the unfortunate incident happened on Sunday, on their way to Taraba ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
According to a source, the accident took place at the TTC/ Special Science School Junction, along the Trans-Saharan road, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State where their bus caught fire and got burnt beyond recognition.
However, 10 students survived and were rushed to the Alex Ekwueme Teaching Hospital in Ebonyi State.
