The 20 clubs of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) will meet today at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) to decide on the format of the new season.
Due to financial constraints and lack of title sponsor, the clubs are considering an abridged season instead of a full-scheduled league.
The meeting comes ahead of the new season’s scheduled kick-off on August 31.
