100m Hurdles’ Champion, Tobi Amusan won gold in the Women’s 100m heat at the Holloway Pro Classic in Florida, United States of America.

She raced to victory in a time of 12.49 seconds, beating US Champion Masai Russell who return a time of 12.51 seconds while Cindy Sember of the United Kingdom followed in 12.62 seconds.

However, the sprinter later finished second in the second feat with a time of 12.60s (-1.7m/s) behind the USA’s Grace Stark, who won with a time of 12.58s.

Amusan began the race with a poor start but recovered early, increasing her speed and clearing the hurdles at the Mike Holloway Pro Classic.
