The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has revealed that he has reviewed the number of Special Assistants on Political Units he will appoint from 28,000 announced on Wednesday to 50,000.
The announcement of the change of figure is coming despite criticisms that have greeted initial announcement of 28,000.
The new appointment was disclosed in a statement made available to Newsmen by the Special Assistant on Media to the Governor, Kelvin Ebiri.
According to him, the appointments will take immediate effect.
