LaLiga: Chukwueze’s sensation sets Villarreal’s foot on Europe Qualification

Nigerian midfielder, Samuel Chukwueze caused a sensation to snatch a 2-1 victory for Yellow Submarine in a LaLiga match played on Monday night.

The match which had earlier in the 9th minute witnessed Enes Unal benefitting from his teammate’s cross to give Getafe the lead with a well-executed header into the top left corner.

In the 44th minute, Chukwueze profited from a loose ball that broke to him in the box to equalise for Villarreal.

He made sure that his team toppled Getafe when he provided an assist to Luis Morales who beat the goalkeeper with a shot inside the left post to give Villarreal the victory which places them on a pole position for a place in European football.

With that goal and assist, the 24-year-old Nigerian international equalled his best scoring season at Villarreal as Villarreal moved to seventh position on the table racking up 34 points from 23 games they have played so far.
