The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced that the international runways 18R and 36L at Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos would be shut down for renovations.
This was announced by FAAN in a statement today.
According to the agency, the runway would be closed for 8 weeks for maintenance.
It further noted that, Taxiway B-18L would be used instead for all flight operations until maintenance is completed.
The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) also closed down same international runway for few hours owing to maintenance.
