Football stakeholders have applauded Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Ekiti United on the release of their new kits for 2022/23 league season.
The Owu jerseys were unveiled by the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji who was represented by the Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode in a grand breaking ceremony at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti last week.
In terms of materials and technology, the Ekiti United 2022/23 home and away kits are identical with little changes from last season.
The kit embraces a classic design with modern touches, in which the traditional yellow and black (home kit) are combined with grey details in between the black stripes at the front bottom.
The shorts and socks are yellow, completely rounding off the look.
While the away kit has a striking combination of white and red, with a white short and a touch of red and red socks.
Ekiti United used the new jersey for the first time in a friendly match against Osun United which ended in a goalless draw last Wednesday at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
