The former world heavyweight champion returned to winning ways with a unanimous, if laboured, points-decision victory scoring 118-111, 117-111,117-111 at O2 Arena in London on Saturday.

Joshua who returned to the ring on April 1 for the first time since losing back-to-back fights to Oleksandr Usyk in August defeated American heavyweight, Jeremy Franklin in the 12 rounds.

Joshua earlier admitted that he will hang up his gloves if he were to lose.

Meanwhile with the victory, having an all-British mega-bout with Tyson Fury could be back on the cards.
