The Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, who was appointed Birmingham City boss at the start of October 2023 has been sacked.
Rooney won only two games since his appointment in October.
On Monday night, Birmingham fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Leeds which spelled the end for the former Derby County and DC United boss.
The ninth loss in 15 games under Rooney saw the visitors stay in 20th place in the Championship and extended the manager’s woeful run in charge.
