Adebayo Adenrele
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Edo gubernatorial election, Senator Monday Okpebholo, is currently leading with 244,549 votes from the results of 16 out of 18 local government areas (LGAs) announced so far.
Okpebholo is ahead of Asue Ighodalo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who has garnered 195,954 votes, while Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party (LP) is trailing with 13,348 votes.
