The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has approved the retirement of the State Head of Service, Barrister Bamidele Agbede after 35 years of service.
This was revealed in a statement by the Permanent Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), James Owolabi, in Ado-Ekiti, on Wednesday.
According to him, Agbede will retire from the active service on August, 18th 2023.
Owolabi disclosed that several activities have been outlined in honour of the retiring Head of Service with the programme to be aired simultaneously on both the Radio and Television channels of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State.
He stressed that the launch of the Stewardship Report of the Office of the Head of Service and the launch of Staff Development Centre Magazine will hold at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Owolabi further noted that the Head of Service will hold a valedictory meeting with the Accounting Officers and thereafter, an official Hand Over with the Senior Management Committee (SMC) members in a valedictory meeting on Friday, 18th August, 2023.
