Veteran Nollywood actress, Maureen Okpoko has passionately appealed to Nigerians to come to her aid as she suddenly went blind.
The 62 year old actress, who has appeared in many Nigerian television series, including Baby Oku, Red Scorpion, Clinic Matters, University Mafias, Sorrowful, Dear Mother and others, made this call in a video now trending on the internet.
The ailing actress who said that she needs urgent medical attention or she would loose her sight completely is reaching out to Nigerians for financial assistance as she needs money to treat vision impairment and blindness.
“I’m seeking your financial assistance. It would be greatly appreciated if you all could come to my aid. Also, I need your prayers and words of encouragement, it has not been an easy journey for me, but I’m grateful for the gift of life. Thank you”, she pleaded.
