The newly elected Chairman of On-air Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), Ekiti State Council, Aderibigbe Adeola, has stated that he will put in his best to protect the interest of the chapel.
He made this known during the election of new Executives of on-air chapel following his reappointment as Chairman of the Chapel.
Aderibigbe stated that he is ready to serve purposely, support and work with the executives of the chapel and the State Council to achieve maximum height.
According to him, the days ahead depends on every members commitment with targets set and timelines worked on, while deliberating on ways to ensure the chapel attain acute heights.
“The days ahead depends on our commitment, there will be storms, but how we react to the storms will determine how far we go.
“The speed of our movement will be determined by the determination in our hearts.
“As an individual, I will put in my best. I want to make a fresh commitment to us as individual, to the chapel as a group, to the NUJ as the umbrella body, that I will do everything with sincerity of purpose to ensure we are proud journalist and ensure we live well.
“I will protect everyone and take up responsibility.” He said
Aderibigbe further urged members to re-establish commitment to the group and not to their pockets.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela while congratulating the newly elected executives noted that leadership is sacrifice, adding that productivity is essential for a rewarding tenure and union growth.
He further solicited that the new leadership be supported in order for it to get to its greatest height.
