Ajirioghene Imah
The Governors of Osun and Lagos State, Senator Ademola Adeleke and Babajide Sanwo-Olu have approved monday, 21st August 2023 as a public holiday in celebration of the annual Isese Day celebration by traditional worshippers.
The festival is with a view to promoting and preserving indigenous culture and tradition of the Yoruba heritage.
Isese (the Yorùbá word for Tradition) Day celebrates the Yorùbá traditions and religion in a display of culture and spirituality with parties, festivals, parades, lectures and display of other traditional apparels to attract tourists from other parts of the world.
