…sets to publish Newsletter highlighting Project
In commemoration of the 2023 International Women’s Day, a non-governmental organisation, TGED Foundation has organised an outreach in Girls Secondary Schools in Ekiti State to teach the effects of climate change, climate equity and its correlation to gender equity.
Women’s roles in the society, according to the Founder of the Organization, Oluwaseyi Ebenezer, cannot be overemphasized, as the Foundation celebrate women who are working ceaselessly to make the world a better place.
2023 IWD themed: “Embrace Equity”, the Founder congratulates women and girls around the world who are using their skills and spaces to fight climate justice and helping to bridge the gender inequality gaps.
Ebenezer added that the Foundation is set to publish their next newsletter highlighting the just concluded Eco Savers School Project (ESSP) for Primary and Secondary Schools 2022.
According to her, “At TGED Foundation, in commemorating the International Women’s Day, we organised a school outreach to an all girls secondary school. The theme for this year”s IWD (EMBRACE EQUITY) was elaborately discussed while also stressing the importance of women in the society. These fatansic girls were also educated on the effects of climate change, climate equity and its correlation to gender equity.
“I hereby want to use this medium to personally celebrate all the wonderful women and girls around the world who are using their skills and spaces to fight climate justice and helping to bridge the gender inequality gaps.
“In conclusion, kindly be on the look out for our next newsletter which will highlight our just concluded Eco Savers School Project (ESSP) for Primary and Secondary Schools 2022. ESSP is a project that is helping to bridge the climate knowledge gap among the younger generation as well as helping to curb plastic pollution by teaching the younger generation waste to wealth.” She said,
