Hollywood Actor, Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend and is set to face jail time.

After a two-week trial, a Manhattan court jury on December 18, 2023, found Hollywood actor Jonathan Majors guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment of his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

The presiding Judge, Michael Gaffey set the sentencing date for February 6, 2024, with Majors facing up to a year in jail or potential probation.

Marvel Studios and the Walt Disney Company swiftly responded to the verdict, dropping Majors from their projects mere hours after the announcement.

The trial stemmed from a March incident in which Jabbari accused Majors of assaulting her in a car, causing her “excruciating” pain.

She detailed allegations of him hitting her, twisting her arm, and fracturing her middle finger. Majors vehemently denied all claims, with his defense asserting that Jabbari was the aggressor.

In a post-verdict statement, Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, expressed his client’s continued faith in the legal process and the anticipation of clearing his name. Chaudhry conveyed Majors’ gratitude to God, family, friends, and fans for their unwavering support during the challenging months.

Once on the path to superstardom, Majors, who has maintained public silence since the verdict, now navigates a challenging period that may reshape the trajectory of his once-blossoming career.

Known for roles in prominent productions like “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” “Devotion,” “Lovecraft Country,” “The Harder They Fall,” and “Da 5 Bloods,” Majors had secured roles in high-profile projects like “Quantumania” and “Creed III,” released in 2023.

However, his anticipated appearance in “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” set for May 2026, hangs in the balance as the actor’s career within the Marvel cinematic universe encounters an unexpected hurdle.
