As the elections of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) 2023 gather momentum, the aspirant vying for the position of National Vice President, Zone B, Comr. Adeola Adekunle has solicited the support of Ekiti State Chapter.
Adeola, who is also the outgoing National Financial Secretary of the association signified her intentions during a visit to the State Chapter on Tuesday.
She promised to bridge the gap between the national and Southwest members, noting that once a common goal is set, there is drive to achieve growth.
“If we have a common goal, we will achieve something tangible.
“We cannot have a wall crack without cracks, I believe there is a crack in the Southwest which I have come to mend, I will bring unity.” She said.
On the interest of the union, Adeola expressed her intention of committed service with a pledge to work towards a unified Southwest.
“I’ve be called to served and I will serve well. We will get trainings and retraining and produced a unified Southwest.” She said.
