The police in east London, United Kingdom has arrested a 28-year-old Nigerian man, Nicolas Aina, for allegedly stabbing his 64-year-old mother, Caroline Adeyelu to death at their home in Dagenham on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
The suspect was also charged with attemped murder on another woman in her 30s .
It was also gathered that Adeleyu was pronounced dead at the scene while the other woman suffered stab injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Her condition is not life-threatening.
Aina appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey today, November 3, the police said.
