The 21st National Sports Festival has come to an end at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta state, as the NSF released the final medal standings yesterday.
Team Ekiti who occupied the 23rd position on the standings in the early start of the festival found themselves finishing 32nd without winning gold medal.
According to the Medal Standings, team Ekiti won 4 bronze and 3 silver to finish 32nd on the table.
The defending Champion, Team Delta has miraculously maintained the victory again with 320 gold medals, 200 Silver and 128 Bronze in the tournament.
Team Bayelsa, team Edo were occupied 2nd and 3rd position on the medal table with 132 gold, 115 silver, and 90 Bronze while Edo has 78 gold, 94 silver and 169 bronze.
Meanwhile, Team Oyo and Lagos stood on 4th and 5th position on the Medal table respectively.
