The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji has presented letters of appointment to the first batch of 1,300 new teachers recruited into the public primary schools at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House, Ado Ekiti.
Oyebanji, who disclosed this in his Twitter handle on Friday also congratulated the State Universal Basic Education Board on the successful conclusion of this exercise in a timely manner as well as the Parents, Teachers Association in the state for their continued support for education in the state.
“I want to congratulate the successful candidates for scaling through the examination and interview stages, having been found qualified in competence and character.
“I urge you all to be a positive instrument in the academic and moral development of our children.
I want to also congratulate the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board on the successful conclusion of this exercise in a timely manner as well as the Parents, Teachers Association in the state for their continued support for education in the state.” he said.
