Nigeria has made history after D’Tigress defeated Canada 79-70 to book a place in quarter final of Olympic games 2024 in Basketball women’s event.
D’Tigress ranked no 12 in the world were too formidable to beat Canada ranked 5th best team in the world.
With this victory, Nigeria also became the first African team to achieve quarter final qualification at the Olympics.
