Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Temitope Alake has felicitated with the entire Muslim community on the successful completion of the Ramadan Month, urging them to celebrate the season in modesty.

The Rector enjoined the Muslim ummah not to lose sight of the sublimity and lessons learnt during the period of the Ramadan fast, but allow the lessons learnt reflect in their ways of life and conduct towards fellow citizens.

Dr Alake, who observed that there can be no development without submission to authorities and sacrifice for peaceful coexistence, counselled that all should pursue peace as it still remains a cardinal requirement for progress in any society.

He therefore urged all Muslim brethren to pray for the good of the Country, especially now that Nigeria is in a transition period.
