The General Overseer of Living Waters Ministries in Zimbabwe, Apostle Christopher Mudavarima, has been accused of deceit and exploitation, particularly targeting vulnerable women, within his church community.

NEWSTODAYNG gathered that incriminating evidence, including pictures and chat transcripts, surfaced in a church WhatsApp group, revealing a pattern of proposing marriage and soliciting financial contributions.

It was alleged that twelve women have come forward, accusing Mudavarima of exploiting them by promising marriage within the church, allegedly using the endorsement of Apostle Vutabwashe.

While the cleric admitted to having affairs with three different women, he dismissed the allegations as lies, suggesting a collaboration among the accusers.

One victim, who chose to remain anonymous, shared her distress, stating, “This man is a womaniser; he has been proposing to different women in church.”

The controversy surrounding Mudavarima is not isolated, as he has a history of questionable actions. In April 2022, he was convicted of defrauding a job seeker and received a 30-month effective prison term, which raises questions about his current absence from state custody.
