The former Managing Director of the Port Harcourt Refinery, Ibrahim Onoja, has been accused of masterminding the mismanagement of $2.96bn earmarked for refinery rehabilitation projects.
NEWSTODAYNG gathered that a whopping sum of N80billion was traced to his personal accounts, under the guise of ‘contract reimbursable’.
According to reports, Onoja has been subjected to an intense investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
A source close to the refinery also revealed that he masterminded the sabotaging of the rehabilitation of the refineries and series of opposition to the Cordinator of the refineries repair, Bayo Akinlere.
