Popular actress Ronke Odusanya has revealed why her marriage hits the rock with Saheed Olarewaju, widely known as Jago.
In an interview on Wasila Coded TV hosted by fellow actress Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke revealed that a friend had allegedly misled her ex-husband by spreading damaging rumors, which later caused their separation.
According to Ronke, the said friend had told Saheed that she intended to leave the marriage to pursue infidelity and had also accused her of an affair with a senator.
“A friend of mine told my partner that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution. That I went to sleep in a Senator’s house with our daughter, Fife. My mouth was left open when he told me.
“God gave me grace because I did a video recording of the time and date on my phone. I recorded it when we got to where we would sleep,” she said.
She also admitted that she faced financial hardships following the split from her ex, saying:
“When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. I had nothing; all my jewelry was taken away and I fainted with that. I was wondering where to start from. I cried so much that day because I didn’t have money to get an accommodation”.
