The Osun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure has relocated the electric pole that is in the middle of Oduola street road, Oke Okanla, Osogbo to the roadside.
This followed a backlash by the netizens where they condemned the State Government of awarding the road to incompetent contractor, thereby putting the lives of residents at risk.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker representing Osun Central Senatorial District under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi in a statement said relocating the electricity pole wasn’t included in the road project’s bill of quantities and is the responsibility of IBEDC, as residents pay their bills.
