In a much anticipated political tussle that might shake the structure of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti, party executives vacated the secretariat on Thursday when a gubernatorial aspirant in the party, Engr Kayode Ojo stormed the state.
Kayode Ojo, who was accompanied by thousands of supporters across the 16 local government areas of the state, shut down Ado-Ekiti ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled for October 27.
NEWSTODAYNG reports that no executive of the party received the aspirant, as there are rumours that all the Excos have thrown their weight behind the incumbent Governor, Biodun Oyebanji.
