Seun Kuti drags Nigerians for not helping Anthony Joshua during car crash

The Nigerian afrobeat musician and social commentator, Seun Kuti has criticised wealthy Nigerians over their response to the recent car accident involving British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

In his post, Kuti said, “If the poor in Nigeria behave the way the rich behave, there would be no Nigeria in 48 hours.

“How many rich people stopped their cars to help Anthony Joshua during the accident?”

He used the incident to highlight what he described as a lack of social responsibility among the rich, contrasting it with the typical solidarity shown by ordinary Nigerians.

He stressed that the behaviour of some affluent citizens during crises reflects broader societal issues, suggesting that a nation would struggle if everyone acted with similar indifference.
