The Football Association in England (FA) has announced plans to punish Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, for displaying ‘God is the Greatest’ during goal celebration.
According to reports, the display is contrary to the Law 4 of the IFAB Laws of the Game, enforced by the FA in England, where section 5 says “Players must not reveal undergarments that show political, religious or personal slogans, statements or images”.
