The operatives of Ekiti State Amotekun Corps has debunked the accusations made by the Ambassador Dare Bejide Campaign Organisation that thugs are being kitted in counterfeit Amotekun uniforms to disrupt the June 20, 2026 gubernatorial poll.

Reacting to the press briefing held by ADBCO’s Director of Communications, Rt. Hon. Olugboyega Aribisogan, the Head of Operations, Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, Mr. Ajayi Aderotimi, described the allegations as laughable, challenging the party to present their evidence.

His words, “If they have their facts, let them bring it out now. I am not going to react to rumours. I don’t just react to baseless allegations”.

Recall that Aribisogan had earlier claimed that the party possesses credible intelligence and video evidence of individuals being trained in fake Amotekun uniforms to intimidate voters, snatch ballot boxes and attack polling agents on election day.

However, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Nigeria Police Force are yet to issue formal statements on the claims raised by the party at the time of filing this report.
