This followed promises made by media personalities serving in the government of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to support the Union and mobilize good spirited individuals to launch the building by October this year.

The promises were made during a strategic meeting held with the media appointees led by the Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatubosun at the NUJ Hall in Ado Ekiti.

Other media aides who attended the meeting include representatives of the Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode; Director General of the Bureau of Community Commutations, Mary Oso Omotoso, DG Value Orientation and Citizenship, Mrs Famuyiwa, and the Technical Advisor on Political Communication, Akogun Tai Oguntayo, among others.
