Ekiti College of Health Ijero installs CCTV cameras in Exam Halls to enhance integrity

‎The authorities of the Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, have installed  CCTV cameras in designated examination halls within the college premises in order to enhance examination integrity.

‎The Chairman of the College’s Governing Council, Dr. Femi Thomas, restated the Council’s commitment to improving academic standards in the institution, while assessing the conduct of the second semester examinations.

‎Dr. Thomas, accompanied by a Council member, Hon. Samuel Aina and the institution’s Principal Officers, noted that the newly introduced CCTV cameras aim to instill a culture of discipline, diligence and hard work among students.

‎He emphasized the institution’s commitment to producing qualified middle-level health service providers who can compete globally with their peers. 

‎Dr. Thomas also stressed the need for health-based institutions to avoid producing half-baked professionals, as this could have adverse effects on public health.

‎Some students noted that the introduction of CCTV cameras in examination halls would motivate their peers to stay focused.
