A Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Abimbola Olawunmi has announced that she would support the gubernatorial ambition of Governor Biodun Oyebanji if some conditions are met.
She stated this on Wednesday on a popular national TV, while reacting to the consensus candidacy of Biodun Oyebanji.
She accused Oyebanji of bribing his way to become the consensus candidate of the party, adding that she would have gladly supported him if the process that produced him was transparent and fair.
Her words, “If the process that brought Oyebanji was transparent and fair, I would support him but since it’s not transparent, I will not support him.
“If all he could do was to bribe his way to become the consensus candidate of the party, that means he’s not competent and not Popular among the party.
“NWC has not messaged or written to us why we were disqualified, they only published it, they have violated my rights as a Nigerian Citizen.
“I have taken them to court that they don’t have the rights to disqualify me unjustly without fair hearing and despite the fact that I wrote a letter to the NWC, Chairman, President Bola Tinubu, there was no response after that”.
