The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams has decried the growing rate of attacks on Nigerians by bandits in the southwestern states such as Kwara, Ekiti, Osun, Ondo, among others.
Recall that some bandits attacked recently attacked a CAC Church in Eruku Town, Kwara town, leading to death of about three persons.
Addressing journalists in a viral video, Adams said it’s high time the region dealt with what he described as ‘cankerworm’ destroying the peace of Yorubaland.
He said, “It’s high time we stopped these cancers that are spreading its virus across your world, aside from making money from it, these enemies want to destroy the economy of Yorubaland this is why they must stop now.
“We must treat this cankerworm with urgent attention is deserved, because for any development to take place in any polity, evil must not be at peace.
“It must be decisively dealt with and fought from all angles, like the monster that is it is”.
