A prominent Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has revealed that it’s not possible for the federal government and Nigerian Army to eliminate terrorism completely in the country.
Gumi stated this while addressing the issues of insecurity across the country.
He noted that the United States of America is not an exclusion in the saga and it has never become a failed country as a result, urging Nigerians to exercise patience.
“On the issue of abduction in Kwara State, we all know that no government can completely eliminate terrorism, even America still deals with its own challenges.
“But for me, things are improving and Nigerians should exercise patience. How can we allow foreigners to use Christianity to divide us in Nigeria? We have lived together in peace for years.”
