The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Ekiti State, Comrade Olatunde Kolapo, has received the prestigious award of meritorious service from the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU.
Comrade Kolapo was honored for his outstanding Distinguished leadership and contributions to SSANU’s development, particularly during his tenure as Chairman of the Ekiti State University branch.
The award was presented at SSANU’s 54th National Executive Council Meeting held at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, alongside other prominent Nigerians, including EKSU Vice Chancellor, Professor Joseph Ayodele.SSANU National President, Comrade Muhammad Ibrahim, praised Comrade Kolapo’s leadership, urging him to continue prioritizing workers’ welfare.
In his speech, the EKiti State NLC’s Chairman, Comrade Olatunde Kolapo vowed to keep serving Ekiti workers selflessly, dedicating the award to his late father Pastor R.O.Kolapo.
Pharm. Kolapo who was accompanied by NLC SAC and SEC members, thanked SSANU for the recognition, promised to keep representing workers’ interests effectively.
